on 2/17/09 7:22 pm - Barryton, MI
Good Morning Michigan, How is everyone one this Hump Day? I'm drinking my old stand by and think all I have left to paint is the trim....yea for me !!!! Had a good night sleep and all rested up for a fun day outside...Plowing
The Q for the day............. How much water do you drink a day ? do you think it too much? and why?
For me ...... I try to get 100 oz a day , Some of the days it a lot , and other it not. Bandsters need at least this each day.
Hope all is well in your home.. Have a great day !!
I am drinking Pam T's protien chia tea. It is very delish and addicting. I will have a cup of coffee when I get to work. Nothing on my commute today to drink, roads are to icky.
QFTD - I drink around 96 oz of water a day. If I don't I just don't feel good. I feel energized at that amount. If I go over 120 oz, I start salt cravings which is not a good thing for me.
Hopefully everyone is back to work yesterday. I was the only one in the office, we had 3 out sick or home with kids. My son is home today running a slight temp and puking during the night. He would probably be ok at school today, but if he would get sick it is a 45 minute drive for me to go get him from school. He will be home with grandma instead. I assume she will enjoy the company.
Have a great day

Just take one day at a time, and start fresh each morning.

Wish I had some Protein Chai Tea... but apparently Pam E. is drinking my cup of deliciousness. LOL! Actually, I had my own mug of it this morning on the drive to work. Now I'm just finishing up my morning fake latte while I do some meal planning for the day.
QOTD -- I stick right at 60-64oz of water a day. Doc doesn't want me over that amount because of my low blood pressure. He's also got me taking in extra sodium... so if I do more than 64oz of water it'll deplete my sodium levels. The dizzy spells and black outs seem to be getting better and my BP readings are more normal lately, so it must be working. Go back to doc in a few weeks for a check up.
Randy -- not sure why a bandster would need that much water. You have a full sized stomach, which is where the majority of water is absorbed, so you could do the 64oz like a normal person. Bypassed folks don't actually absorb water until it hits the large intestines and even then, the water doesn't have a long tract for absorption, so that is why it's normal for us to need more than the normal amount. Just curious...
