Good Monday afternoon.  I think it's afternoon.  I can't tell what time it is any more!  Ugh!  How do people sit around and do nothing all day?  I'm bored!

I'm going to offer just a bit of advice for the QOTD:  Be very careful of how you handle your WLS successes.  I have seen it on here far too often when people achieve goals that they like to act "holier than thou".  I don't like to use the word failure, either.  I guess that's because I am, in a sense, a WLS "failure".  It's very frustrating when you are educated and motivated about something and you have someone flippantly post that you need to watch your carbs or something trite like that.  Some of us that have been here for awhile have seen those that lose weight and finally feel like they can be in the 'know-it-all' club.  I'm not really answering today's question, just offering a caviat for those that are now in a position to give advice.  Remember that just because your surgery was successful, or you are wearing a smaller size, or whatever, doesn't mean you are better than others or that your advice is always the best for them.

I had my chocolate mint protein shake this am.  Day 7 of my 15 day liquid diet.

I know it's not Monday anymore, but I wanted to say WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!  You are about 1/2 way through your liquid diet.  This is the first of many goals you'll set and achieve for yourself.  See?  We knew you could do it!
