Surgery in Lansing, MI

I'm considering having bariatric surgery done at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan.  I'd love ot hear from anyone who's had it done there.  Or Sparrow Hospital for that matter.  Thanks.

I am currently going through Ingham (Lane & Richardson).  My journey is becoming very discouraging and I'm bout ready to give it!  I am meeting with them in the morning.  They keep canceling my surgery because I'm not losing at much weight as they want me to.  I've been on a liquid diet for the past two weeks and lost six pounds...unfortunately that's not enough.  Had you asked me my opinion a few weeks ago, it would have probably been way more positive.  Now I just want my program fee money back...which of course is NON-REFUNDABLE!!!

Please hang in there. You are on your way to a better life! It took me 3 years of red tape to get through to the point I am at now. It was frustrating and very discouraging and as such I did not always pursue things as diligently as I could have. My life has become wonderful since. There have been quite a few ups and downs, but the ups blow the downs away. We are all her as friends in your corner also.

I did my program through Sparrow Weight Management-very good program and Dr. Yenumula is fantastic!

Dr. Lane and Richardson performed my bariatric surgery in October 2007 at Ingham Medical.  I had a great experience and would HIGHLY recommend them and the hospital.  Good Luck--it is worth it!!
