Good Morning Michigan, Is it the weekend yet.... there a change in the air this morning in it's cold... drinking my old standby by and trying to fight off this cold..What's in your cup?

Shannon and Stacy are back from Mexico and will be checking in today.

The Q for the day.......Are you a big fan of out of state travel?
For me..... I try to keep my money in the state we go camping around this great state.

What's your plans for the weekend? We have a four day break this weekend so I sure we will be doing something and then on Sunday I take my old bike to my son in Lansing

Good morning.

Had a little coffee.  Drinking water now.  

I don't mind traveling out of state, although there are some places I would like to go to in the state that I haven't been to. 

This weekend, my family is coming over to help us tear out carpet and paint the baby's room.  Today is the last day of school before Winter Break next week.  YAY!  Easy day today....valentine's day activities, movie and small party and then time to go home!  I get to sleep in for the next 10 days.  YAY me!  Hubby and I may sneak away for a few days during the break, but we aren't really planning anything....if we feel like going, we'll go!

No coffee, yet, this morning. Will fix my old standby, soon, or head to Starbucks for a cinnamon dolce latte (skinny and decaf of course).

QOD-Love to travel in state as we have a gorgeous state with lots of natural beauty. But, I enjoy out of state travel, too. Last week in Philadelphia, I was told I had an ACCENT! What is a Michigan accent?

Plans for the weekend? It's Valentines Day and the DH has to work all weekend, so it will be very quiet...........

Mmmmmmm....Starbucks!  I think I like Starbucks mugs more than the coffee, actually.  I just bought a new one yesterday!  LOL!  

Nothing for me yet,but off to Bigby at work soon for whatever flavored decaf they have.

i like to stay in the state too.  I collect books about Michigan and love the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Lake, etc. Last year I went back to Mackinac Island for the first time in years.  But I do hope to go down to Gettysburg this summer-I like to tour historic American sites.

Anyone else get sinus headaches from the Change in Weather?  I am drinking H2O right now.  Will switch to Purple Stuff soon.

I love this State so much.  When we can, we go to my sister's cabin near Glennie.  Its God's country up there.  Deer, Bears, Turkey, OH MY!  This year we will stick close to home.  With the heated pool, I have my own little resort in my backyard.

Finished the fake latte and should already be on crystal light... but haven't gotten the water bottle filled yet. 

QOTD -- I wish I could travel more than I do.  If I could winter in Florida, I would.  I have made the commitment to myself that I will take more weekend getaways this summer --- basically head to the beach more often. 

3-day weekend coming up for me too!   Birthday is on Saturday and my parents are taking me out for lunch and a quick trip to the casino.  Otherwise, no big plans for me.

I have had a really bad start to my day and trying to correct it. 

I went to have blood drawn, so no am coffee for me.  They poked me 5 times before they got a good draw.  Come to find out, it was a student assigned to draw blood.  I told her from the start I had small veins and am sometimes hard to stick, you think she would have got help if she wasn't confident.   I already have 4 bruises forming. 

So I had no coffee to start with, my son has had me up since 4:30 a.m., I am ready to find a hole and pull the dirt in around me.  I have a headache for the fifth day in a row.  I think is my new meds I started Sunday. 

Ok, I said it and now shake it off. 

I did get a starbucks on my way, god it has been so long since I had one of their latte, it gave me the shakes.  I will get my water going and make it a better day.

PS - we do mid week Michigan getaways all summer.  We are going to venture out to the Toledo Zoo for one trip this summer.  I am excited to go to the hippoaquarium.  I  hippos.

HI EVERYBODY. I HAVE BEEN DRINKING WATER IN MY CUP THIS MORNING. TRYING TO MAKE SURE I GET THE BASICS IN TODAY! I LIKE TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE ESPECIALLY TO PA. AND CA. AS THAT IS WHERE MY GRANDCHILDREN AND CHILDREN ARE! I MISS THEM. THIS WEEKEND I WILL BE SINGING AND PLAYING DRUMS IN MECOSTA FOR A VALENTINES DANCE. DRUMMING IS GOOD EXERCISE AND A LOT OF FUN SO AM LOOKING FORWARD TO IT! I WI**** WOULD WARM UP AGAIN, BUT WE CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING! I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!

I'M  drinking water and oj this am,  Still working on getting rid of the cold.  
 I love to  travel whether in or out of the state.  We love the lakes surrounding the state for camping .   We enjoy the UP  in the fall for the colors and crisp cool weather.  
I also like traveling outside the state  the country.    I was blessed  with the privilege of going to a college that had the motto "The world is our classroom lets explore it"  and we did!  I got to travel in Europe and the US.  There are so many fascinating and beautiful places I still have to see!
