If so, was it approved?  I know they will cover a tummy tuck.  I need to have one breast reduced in size and the nipples put in the correct place.  Sorry TMI!!!  If you had to self pay, how much was it?

I am just starting to get interested in plastic surgery.  I see my WLS doctor soon, to get his opinion.

Any info would be appreciated.

Ok don't laugh, but with all the weight I've lost, 200 lbs so far, I might need the answer to that. Let me know what you find out.

I would like to know too.  I didn't know that they would cover a tummy tuck, does there have to be "issues" for a tummy tuck to be covered??  I would love to get one!

With my insurance, for a tummy tuck, you have to lose at least 100 pounds.  That's it.  You can also have up to 2 of them.  That's all I know.  I am going to talk with my surgeon on tuesday to find out more info.
