HI Sherry, I remember you! I often wondered how you were doing. We are close in surgery dates. What I have learned being this far out is that I have to record everything I eat, or else I over EAT. and since my pouch can hold a lot more now, I need to watch portion sizes. I used the daily plate to track my meals. Also, I try to walk as much as possible. I count parking in the furthest space and using stairs, etc.
Just remember to eat your protein first. And dont skip meals. It gets wayyyy harder to lose the farther you are out. Its more like dieting now. at least thats what me and my friends decided.
good luck sweetie.

Hey Sherry,
Welcome back to the boards. Unfortunately I think you'll find it harder to lose weight the further out you are BUT don't forget you still have a great tool that'll work for you. What I have whenever I've strayed is going back to a primarily liquid diet for 2-3 days tends to get me back on track. I've been a fairly active person and when I was near the Detroit Marathon I was eating large portions in order to get the fuel I needed to sustain that activity. I did actually gain about 3-4 pounds in the days immediately leading to the race -- of course I lost them during the race. After the race I was having a hard time bringing my eating levels back down. I decided to go for 2-3 days of nothing but protein shakes and protein bars, back to basics. When I started back into normal foods I found I could no longer eat the larger portions I had been and that things returned to the way I felt they should.
Just my experience and I think it may be worth a try. The other thing I'd suggest, especially as it's getting nice outside again is to try to up your exercise levels. How much exercising are you doing? Like we all know, weight loss comes from 2 things: 1) reducing caloric intake and 2) increasing our activity level. Our tools help with the caloric intake we've got to do the second part on our own.
Congrats on the 130, what a great accomplishment! Also good on re-setting yourself to lose the last of the weight. 3 months to lose the rest of the weight may be too aggressive -- but if yo lose all 40 lbs who cares if it took another 3 or 6 months?
Good luck and welcome back
