After my surgery I didn't go out to eat for a few months, I was a good dubbie post op, hopefully he will be too. As far as splitting meals, I actually like getting a meal out and having it a few more times.
I've never seen Spamalot, I'm looking forward to it.

I knew there was something else you asked LOL
I go to a place in Clarkston called Belle Visage. When I had my surgery my office raised money for a gift for me to pamper myself there and I've stayed there since. I love getting massages!

Really, I don't want this to come across as one of my usual downer answers, but here I go being thorny again :)
I stopped losing weight (and started gaining RAPIDLY) at 18 months post op. I had hoped to get to my goal weight before I had any plastics done. After over a year of battling so hard to just keep weight from piling on, I decided that the goal weight is never going to be.
I got fed up with the rashes and infections, and it actually hurts when I wear pants that button and zip. I decided that now was the time to do it. I'm am very realistic about what I'm doing. I will never wear a bikini. I am still obese, but like I said, it's really been a battle for me so I don't think that's going to change any time soon. I have the insurance and the time off, so I decided to have it done now.
I wish I was at the point that a lot of people are....where I could look at this as the last step in my WL journey, but I'm not.

Brenda,
It is not a downer answer, just open and honest as we expect you to be.
I understand completely. I have not lost anything for 12 months. I had wondered about a TT also, if nothing else, to make me feel better. Isn't that partly why we are all on this journey?
Best of luck next week, have someone post how you are doing for us.
Pam

Hi eveyone , Deb and I are home safe and sound . Checking my e-mail I had a post for a support group I post her E-mail:
Hey Randy,
I am a lurker on the boards and do not really like to post so I was hoping that you could let the girls know that there is an excellent support group that meets at St. Mary's hospital in Livonia. The next one is on Wed. Feb. 25th in the auditorium. I will be there for sure. The last one I went to was in January and we had about 80 people there. I do not have any stake in the meetings - it is just my doctor. They will be talking about plastic surgery at this meeting. Last meeting was grazing and cottage cheese test. They are open to anyone.
Thanks
Elicia
ps - St. Marys is at 5 mile and Levan and the meeting is at 7pm
btw - I truely appreciate you taking the time for your daily post. I read it every day.
She is shy and did not like to post on the board so I will do it for here
Again Thanks for being our friends
