5 Years out today

I was reading the posts today and it dawned on me that it is my 5 year re-birthday. Seems like there are not many old post-ops on the board anymore. While I don't post that much anymore, I still read the MI board faithfully every day. I am proud to say I am still at my lowest weight and hanging pretty close to a 250 lb. loss. It seems like forever ago.

Hey Jon,
Congrats on 5 years out. I remember you doing a fair amount of posting when I was first starting out. It's hard to believe I'm beginning to be one of the old post-ops at only 18 months, lol. Keep up the good work and good to read a post from you!

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

My dear, dear friend. It is nice to know that you are still there. It is 5 years for me this year. It is amazing the journey we have been on. I have done marathons and a triathlon, and have definately embraced our new life. One of my fondest memories of my journey though was the day you, at that time a complete stranger, called me at the hospital to see how I was doing. You are a good friend. Carol
