As far as the life insurance question - I have not tried to get additional insurance since surgery. I did try a few years back and was denied. It may be the further out you are from surgery the more likely you will get approved. I know one of the questions they asked was about recent weight loss/gains and how long it had been since I lost/gained the weight.

I've heard about the life insurance issue also, but am wondering if it is an urban legend. I have not heard one person say they were turned down because of wls, has anyone heard it directly from the person affected????
I've had the same policy since I was 30, so that's fine and I also have a small one throught work that didn't require any paperwork, but I will loose it also when I leave my job.
