Good Morning Michigan , We had a light dusting of snow last night and it cold out there again. I'm drinking my old stand by Forgers decaf with S/F carmel vanilla creamer in it. What's in your cup?

We will be heading to Jackson on Thursday so no post Friday... Brenda is in charge...lol

The Q for the Day............ Has anyone tryed to get life Insurance since surgery?

For Me... I had it prior to surgery and Deb did not. We have been told and heard that once you have surgery you can not get it?

                   Have a great day Everyone

Good Morning everyone.
I tried to get a life insurance policy before my WLS, and they told me because of my weight it would be hard to get a policy that didn't cost a fortune.  The agent told me to try again after surgery and weight loss.  I would think that it shouldn't be a problem, especially since Deb has the band, which is removable.  I do have a small policy through work that I've had for years.

I never really thought about my supplements and vitamins before.....I just took them every day because I was "supposed to".  Tomorrow will be a week since I have taken any and boy, do I notice a difference.  I feel just awful!  I am still taking my B-12, but that's it.

Hope everyone has a good day.  I hope the rain and warm temps this weekend get rid of all the snow!

I switched to herbal tea-it seems to go down easier in the AM. I still have the morning band tightness.

Great question Randy!  I have a life insurance policy and my premium just tripled-but I a afraid to let it go for fear I won't be able to get another one.  I haven't actually tried, but I have heard that WLS surgery makes us high-risk, even though we are potentially healthier than ever before in our lives.

BTW, for those of you with insurance through work, are you able to keep it once you retire?  I have a "twice my salary" policy from work but I lose it the day I quit or retire.
