Weight Gain after surgery
I had surgery almost 5 years ago. I originally lost about 200 pounds, and was extremely fast at losing the weight. For the last few months I have been putting on weight like crazy almost 40 pounds. The only difference now is that I am older and my hormones are all out of wack. Has this happened to anyone else?
Have you tried keeping a food diary? I have found that recently some of those old foods are creeping back in my life. When I made myself accountable, I realized that it would be easy to slip into some old habits. Once I was honest with myself, I was able to cut those things out. If you can honestly say that you are not eating more and exercising less, than I would encourage you to see help from your physician to make sure that there is not a medical cause for your weight gain.
you might want to make an appointment with your nutritionist...and also use fitday to try to see where you mi ight be creeping into old habits (or new ones developing!) it is always a battle....but get a hold of it before you add more.....you can do it.we are all battling this situation unless totally watching everything that goes in.as fuel...and all exercise that burns it! good luck and hug, rae
