Can some one tell me how soon that added things to your protein drinks?   I have a list of 50 Shakes adding things like fruit and  peanut butter etc?

At your stage I would not add anything to your shakes or protein drinks.

No, I just happen to see these Shake Recipes and wonder how they fit in.  I had assumed during the puree stage.

The way i read her post is that she is asking When is it appropriate to add these things to her diet, not if she can have them now.  Since I dont know her surgery very well, i would say either follow her doctors protocol or ask someone who's been there.  It doesnt sound like she's asking for the go ahead to me.

Yeah, I agree.  While my surgery was not the same as yours, I didn't add things for 2 weeks or so.  I would think, at that point, that you would still be pureeing. I remember running my cream soups through a strainer to make sure I wasn't getting anything too big.  I mixed all my shakes in the blender so they were very well blended.  We had a list of foods that were ok'd at each stage.  So I would add the fruit to shakes, once I could start having fruit.  Strawberry shakes and choco peanut butter were my two faves....protein shakes that is!

But yes, I agree....follow your doctor's orders!
