I'm home

Hi all-
just a quick note to say I'm home and surgery went well.  Drs. Birkmeyer and Finks and everyone at UM were absolutely wonderful.  Surgery took about an hour and all was very uneventful.  Nurses were great and very helpful and supportive.  Now I'm home trying to figure out how to get in 64oz of water plus protein drinks while only drinking an ounce every 15 mins...??  I'm sure I'll figure it out - off for a nap!  :)

You won't get it all in.  Keep trying, but don't make yourself crazy.  Sip sip sip....take it easy and you'll be fine!!

Glad things went well- you were in great hands!!
Like Brenda says- dont make yourself crazy trying to get everything in.  Get in as much as you can and you will eventually figure out a routine.  I am 4 yrs out and I still have my routine!
