Tina,

Best of luck if you bring your mom home.  It is difficult, but it might come at a good time in her life.  A new baby on the way, might give her a bright spot in her days.

A little over 4 years ago, I gave up my home and moved in with my MIL.  We put my FIL in a nursing home because  he lost both legs due to being diabetic.  It has been a challenge for the 4 years.  It also has been a blessing for my son.  It has given my MIL a reason to get up in the morning.  She is 85 and has heart and lung issues and has dealt with a lot of depression since my FIL passed away  2 1/2 years ago.

God Bless

Pam

While we would love to have her home,  we know it will be difficult for her.  She is 66, has Parkinson's and slight dementia.  My father passed away at 55, nearly 13 years ago due to a torn aorta.  She has not been the same since, even though she remarred about 5 years ago, which is what eventually brought her to TN.  Her current husband pretty much refuses to move to MI because of the weather.  But he's all for her moving back to MI so we can take care of her.  Yeah......it's not an ideal situation.  We just want her in MI where we know she is going to get the care she needs.  But I digress....

Morning all

I'm normally tossing/turning throughout the night but last night I was exhausted so I slept pretty sound.

I'm drinking Decaf Tea with Splendor/Benefiber. I normally like regular tea with honey/lemon but I'm turning over a new leaf.

I sleep on the right side of the bed.........hubby is always closest to the door, isn't that the golden rule?

Hey all,

Well it's lunch here so......in my bowl is home made stew, I make it w/ Laura's lean beef since it's lower in fat and easier for me to handle than stew meat, I also have sweet pot's instead of white ones, and of course onions and carrots.  YUMMY, plus I have some sliced peppers, and 2 oreo's !!!

I sleep on the left side.
