Looks like snow here each day the rest of the week. That's is OK .
The Q for the day.... Do you have any plans made for the year yet?
For us... We have been making more camping plans for June and the first of July we will be in the U.P from June 26 . Straits SP (Car Show}, Baraga SP, and Tahquamenon SP. Then home for the 4 of July

I am up drinking my regular coffee and playing word games online.
Am counting down the days before I will be on the beach with margaritas in both hands!!! 24 days!! I may not come back!!! Well, I guess I will for my dogs..LOL
Working late tonight..trying to get all the extra $$ for sombreros!!!
QOTD- Hmmm How well do you take compliments?
My answer- I take them a little better now but still feel deep inside that the person isnt being true- but it is hard taking a compliment. Being overweight when people would say like "wow- you look great" or something like that- and I would think "yeah right- they are just trying to be nice"

This is a great site and you meet some great people . I hope to meet you in have a cup of Coffee with you one of these days. We have tryed a few times to meet and no luck yet.....But someday !!!

I'm drinking Ruby Red Crystal Light and freezing at work. I'm so jealous of you Shay! Every year at this time, I tell myself to schedule a vacation for next year. I never get around to it.
I'll answer both QOTDs: Planning on going to FL in the fall to see my dad who is moving there. Getting my DH through his classes, cleaning up the big mess at work, and that's about it. Oh yeah, we decided last night to do some painting inside in the Spring. How exciting!!
I have a really really hard time with compliments. I'm also a really bad compliment-giver, because I know they make me so uncomfortable I don't dish them out very often. I think that will be my goal today. I'll compliment everyone at work. I'll let you know how it goes.

Good morning, everyone! I'm home from work today, waiting to take off for TN at some point today because my mom is in the hospital in Nashville because she had a heart attack. They are doing a heart catheter this AM to find out where the blockage is and do a stint or possibly a bypass. My mom has Parkinson's and dementia. Right now, I'm not sure she completely understands why she's in the hospital or what is going on. My sis in AZ left for TN yesterday. My siblings and I here in MI are putting our trip together today. I just got home from TN a week ago. She was home in MI for 3 weeks. She was doing fine at that time.
So, I'm trying to DE-STRESS today, so I stayed home from work. Right now I'm drinking a cup of double chocolate Ghirardhelli coffee. YUMMY!!!
My plans for the year.....HAVE A HEALTHY BABY! That's about as far ahead as I've planned! LOL!! I have 20 weeks left! EEK!
As far as compliments go....I'm kinda like Brenda. I can take them, but I don't like anyone GUSHING over me or anything like that. And since it tends to make me a little uncomfortable, I don't always give them like I should. But I just want to say to you all.....
"YOU LOOK MAH-VA-LOUS, DARLING"
