HI RANDY AND DEB, I NEVER FORGET I HAD SURGERY AS I STILL CAN'T BELEIVE THE DIFFERENCE. I HAVE TO REMIND MYSELF EVERYDAY THAT I CAN'T GO BACK TO MY OLD BAD HABITS! ALSO I HAVE TO THINK ALL THE TIME THAT I NEED TO SLOW DOWN WHEN I AM EATING OR ELSE I WILL PAY FOR IT. BUT IT IS STILL ONE OF THE VERY BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER DID FOR MYSELF! I WAS UNHAPPY THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE SCHOOL TODAY AS I STILL HAVE A HOUSEFUL!! BUT I DO LOVE THE GRANDCHILDREN SO I WILL MAKE THE BEST OF IT!!! SEE YOU WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Well it's lunch now, so on my plate was a lean cuisine ~ pot roast w/ red potatoes and I also had some sliced red, yellow and orange peppers on the side.  It wasn't bad for a fz lunch.

QOD:   I don't think I've had more than an hour or two that I haven't remembered I had the surgery.  Between remembering to drink, take vities, get protein in....it's allot of work (whew!)

But oh so worth all the effort.

Belated morning all. Since I work midnights I am on the road home or fast asleep by the time that you post your good morning posting. I have already had several cups of spice tea or protein hot chocolate by the time you are up. I never forget that I had the surgery.but I do order too large of meals when I eat out. I do so knowing that I will take a doggy bag home and that I am ordering what will be several meals for myself at once. Seems to work for me just fine. I make protein intake my primary focus along with water intake. So I am never without thinking of my post surgical needs.
