Good Morning Michigan, Just made camping reservations at Ludington state park for in the spring. Just think only 73 more days to spring..............Yea     "No School for Deb today" Things here are still not back yet..... Ice ,Snow, Hope that school is out by July

I'm drinking my old stand by and watching the news. What's in your cup this AM?

The Q for the day............. How many time have you forget that you had surgery? or do you ever forget this?

For me .......... I can name a few times . But I quickly am reminded by my band...lol

Did you have a good w/e?

Well, give me a hollar when you head out this way!    The park is only a few miles down the road from me - I live right in town.     No school for Julie today either - too  much ice.
I'm drinking tea with Upcal D added, and I've just eaten some bacon and a few mixed nuts.  Sorry - DS'er here...bacon is free food for us, LOL.  I'm going to make some lower-carb cottage cheese pancakes for my second breakfast.
I don't think an hour has gone by in the past 2.5 years that I've actually forgotten I've had WLS.   Maybe an hour, but certainly not a day.   I am reminded of it in so many ways.....my ease of mobility, the way my clothes fit, a glance in the mirror.  I'm also reminded of it when I eat too many simple carbohydrates - bad gas, LOL.    I am reminded of my surgery every time I pop a handful of vitamins or remember to eat my protein first before my carbs.   Hope everyone stays warm on this frigid morning.

Oh    My   Goodness.   I am so tired this morning.  Remind me next year to not take so much time off of work.  It just made me lazy.
End of the year accounting stuff going on today.  I'm trying to teach myself how to do everything.

There isn't any snow or ice around here....but it sure is cold.  I guess tomorrow night we're supposed to get a few inches.

A:  I don't ever forget.  It's kind of tiring, actually.  I'm always thinking about food, exercise, etc. so I don't ever have a chance to forget about surgery.   It's funny......one of the big reasons I decided to have surgery is so I could finally quit stressing about my weight.  Now I do it more than ever.

I did have a good weekend.  I think my DNA is programmed to not work and just hang out at home!

Good morning. I made it into work this morning without any major issues. The side roads were a little icy, but thats about it. I am sipping on my ice water.

I dont think I have really forgotten yet that I had surgery...but I am not quite 4 months out...

My w/e was stupendous!!!! I had a great ladies night in on Saturday at my house. it was a small group, but it was a lot of fun! And then my hubby let me sleep until 12:30 on Sunday, which is pretty much unheard of in our house.

Good morning Randy!
Ice must be pretty bad north of here.......
My cup? decaf, black and really hot.
The only time I forget when I've had surgery is when I don't follow band rules and something gets stuck and my band lets me know.
My weekend was good till Sunday eve when I think I got a touch of the flu. Still feel like I've been hit by a train this morning.  Just waiting for the Tylenol to kick in.
I love camping. Maybe should follow your lead and make reservations for this summer...

morning all,

I have a vacation day.  Done with my protien coffee and sipping some flavored water.  Wondering about breakfast.  Normally it is Weight control oatmeal, but that is at work, so maybe an egg white and spinach omlet.

Plans for the day, getting into my son's room and getting rid of some old toys.  Then taking my hubby to the dr.

Took it easy for the weekend.  Back to my normal routine.

I'm back to work, much like the rest of you.  I was not looking forward to returning to work, but once I got here and the kids come in and they are so happy to see me again, well, it makes it worth while.  I think the reason I wasn't looking forward to it was the fact that I had to get up at 5AM.

I am trying to cut back on my caffeine intake again.  Got into a bad habit being off for 2 weeks.  So, I'm cutting back to my one diluted cup of coffee a day.

I'm only working 1/2 a day today.  I have my 20 week fetal survey ultrasound today.  Hopefully, we will be able to find out the gender today!

Do I forget about my surgery?  Oh, honestly, yes, I do....until I eat.  Being pregnant, though, has really brought it back to the forefront of my day.  Eating has become just like early post-op.  I get very full, very quickly.  Only difference now, though, is the fact that I get very hungry right away.

Enjoy the day!  Tina
