Busy day yesterday but today is a relaxing day. Just washing blankets and dishes otherwise reading and movies.
Im not ready for the long weekend to be over!!

Had my yogurt and Kashi for breakfast and moving on to water.
It doesn't seem too icy around here, but I haven't left the house yet. Doggie didn't fall on her butt, so it must not be too bad out there!
Good question Randy....I think it's God's sense of humor. He likes to see us work for things, I suppose. I come from a family of all skinny people. My sister is 40 years old, eats Mt. Dew and Doritos for lunch every day and weighs 103 lbs. soaking wet. Has never exercised a day in her life. So what happened to me?? LOL

It's just starting to get wet here and it looks very frozen out there. We're considering heading out to the movies this afternoon, we'll see if weather permits.
So far this am I've had my protein shake, then I'm going to have some chai tea, with a splash of soy milk and sweet n low.
TQOTD: Isn't that one of the great questions of all times. I always joke that my body is still prepared for cavemen times, that it doesn't realize Kroger is a mile away!!! But I'll take the question one further why do some gain easy and some can't gain at all??? Do their bodies realize Kroger is down the street??

I got up feeling like a walk this morning, and the ice convinced me otherwise!
Hopefully later today. So, drinking my standard hot chocolate protein and making adjustments to the iPod. I like walking to country music, so the smaller iPod shuffle is going all country!
It is so hard to lose because food with fat & sugar & white flour just tastes do darn good!! Although, I am of the mindset that stress, genetics, continuous attempts at restriction diets causing the body to really hold tight to all the weight it can, and simply just lack of time making convenient / processed / fast foods just so much easier has a whole lot more to do with it.
I gave myself the best gift I ever could last year -- one year without a J.O.B. so that I could completely focus on my recovery, new post-op life, and things that were just important to me. And, I still find it challenging to get all the nutritional requirements in for my newer anatomy some days, let alone the time I would like to ideally devote to movement of this now pain-free body!

Highest Known Weight = 370# / 59.7 bmi @ 5'6"
Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

I wish is weren't so easy to gain either.... My scale had been creeping up for a while there, but at last since October it has been the same, which I guess it good considering all the food I was around during the holidays!!!! Now time for the HARD work, getting that scale moving back down... It just isn't fair!!!!
