New Years Eve Morning Coffee Anyone !!!!

Good morning Michigan, Is it extra cold out there this morning .Hope you can stay in and be warm. If not dress for it.

The Q for the day...............What's your plans for tonight? Are you going to be here for a chat after midnight? Is there going to be a on-line party tonight?

Deb and I will most likely  be in bed sleeping we have not seen 12:00 midnight in a few years..lol 

Good Morning!  I am just passing time at work, waiting for noon so I can leave.  I left DH and DS home with the new Wii.  I am sure nothing will get done around the house today until I get there to do it.

We're staying home tonight and watching the ball drop.  I have a few appitizers that I'll make along with my sugar free ****tails.  My DH's family puts money in their shoes and then walks around with them on.  It's supposed to bring prosperity in the new year.

2008 was pretty good to me.....I hope 2009 is as well.  Happy New Year!!

Hmmm, note to self......put money in my shoes tonight before going out.  I'll have to remember that.

I don't want to jinx myself, but ever since I met DHD and have been doing it, I've been "prosperious".   Now it could be I just found myself a good man, but a little money in the shoes can't hurt, right?  LOL

I'm gonna try it.  Can't hurt.

Well, we made it home.  FINALLY!  We were going along just fine and were set to hit home about midnight.  Then we crossed into MI and the weather took a dive on us.  Misty, freezing rain, with high winds.  Then that all turned to blowing snow.  So the last 80 miles or so,  we drove about 35 mph.  Didn't get home til 2AM.  It sucked.  But it was nice to be home.  Sometime this AM, we'll be heading to Commerce to get our doggies from my sister's house.  Then back home to stay until we go back to work on Jan 5th.  LOL!  

I'm having a bit of watered down Starbucks this AM and some water.  Didn't have enough water on the road yesterday. 

Our plans for the night don't include much more than staying home with a few movies and some snacks.  We may stay up til midnight.  Who knows!  Enjoy the day and stay safe!  Tina

Happy  New Year MI!!!  It looks so beautiful outside the kitchen window this morning with the little bit of snow we got last night.  I wouldn't mind if it was a little warmer tho'!!!  Just drinking my water this morning- didn't feel like coffee today.  I took today off from work for a change- oh it's so nice to stay home and relax.
For the first time in a very long time- hubby and I are going out for New Years with a bunch of friends at a hall party.  Got the new dress and shoes- oh my that's a first.  A nap later will probably help me stay awake long enough to enjoy the evening....lol  jennie k

We are taking the kids to the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey game. And depending on how awake they are after the game, we may try to attend the ball drop in downtown GR.

Well I haven't been on OH in ages. 

Tonight DH and I are going to my sisters house for a party and poker playing.  I have never been a drinker so I will enjoy water tonight.  I am finally down 50 lbs as of today though and I swear I thought I would never get there.

By the time I read this I'm at lunch.....so I'll anwser what's on my plate or in my bowl.   Today I have bbq ribs and broccli slaw salad YUMMY.

Tonight we're going over to some freinds and staying the night, so we don't have to drive home with the crazies!
