Good Morning Michigan, Glad to see other people can post...lol . It's Son Cold outside this morning and 3-5 inch's of Snow coming in this afternoon.
I'm drinking s/f french vanilla de caf a small change for me this AM. What's in your cup?
The Q for the day............... How much solid Protein do you get in , of all your Protein on a average day?
For me........ I try to get at less 80% of me protein from solid sources.

Good Morning. Man, is it dark out today. I felt like I was driving in the middle of the night on the way in today.
I'm drinking water, same as always. I'm also going to plan my NYE menu today (I mean I'm going to be working hard...yeah, that's what I meant). I picked up some Baja Bob's Mai Tai mix this weekend. It's made with Splenda, has zero carbs and sugar, so you can have a drink with everyone else. Even if you don't do alcohol, you can still make a yummy drink.
I am so bad at eating my protein. I try to eat an egg or some kind of protein with dinner, but that's about it. I usually find myself having to do a supplement at the end of the day.

I got my usual Raspberry Iced tea this morning and just getting ready to walk out the door and head to work.. Last day of the year for me.. I have been battling a cold the past couple of days... well since Christmas eve and it is getting the better of me.. Man I hate a hacking cough... My chest hurts from it.
I try to get in as much protein as I can.. and lately I have been bad about my supplements since times at work are scarce..... I need to pump things up more... I do my bloodwork today at the hospital to see how things are running.. I go for my yearly appt on the 20th... 4 years to the day.
I did join the gym yesterday finally and am looking forward to using that place. It is close to home and on my way home from work... and it only costs me 10 bucks a month... So that is a bonus for me. I am committing to using it at least 3 times a week... Now if I can just get over this cold so I can exercise...

Ok. I seriously don't want to come home if there's going to be more snow when I get there. It was 60 here yesterday and from the sun shining through the window I'm hopeful it will be that or more TODAY! But, we will probably come home today, sometime later. We miss our doggies which are at my sister's house.
I don't have anything in my cup, as of yet, because I'm still laying in bed. LOL! I do have some water from yesterday that I need to finish. I try to do that before I start on any coffee.
I get all of my protein from solid sources as I do NO supplements. I usually do pretty well as I generally have some sort of meat with each meal. It's been harder since I've been pregnant because meat by itself just tastes yucky to me. However, I did have steak and salad last night. It was yummy. I'm hoping that I'm past that stage and can go back to my salad and chicken/steak dinners that hubby and USUALLY have.

I am on my way to Biggby here at work to get a cup now-hopefully the Michigan Cherry coffee, its my favorite. I don't count my protein but am pretty sure i am getting plenty since t is always the first, and sometimes the only thing I eat at a meal. I have developed a bad habit of depending on nuts for snacks at night--a good source of protein, but way too many calories.
I am off work for the rest of the week after today and will miss driving in the snow tomorrow morning. Hooray!

I'm starting to love these 2-day workweeks. Also loving casual day-everyday. It's definitely slow here at work and I'm loving the extra down time. But it reminds me that the busiest time of my year is about to hit hard starting next week. :-)
Had my fake latte this morning and already 3/4 of the way through my first 20oz of Crystal Light. I'm just about to go grab some breakfast (grapes and cheesestick).
QOTD: I average about 100-120g of protein per day. Lately I've been foregoing the morning shake (30g) and having a protein bar instead (cuz I'm lazy). So I get about 70-90g of protein from food sources and 20-30g of protein from supplement.

I have my make ahead hot choc this morn with a bottle of water, not sure what the weather is going to do here today. Hopefully, a little snow to brighten things up a bit. Before it does anything outside I have to go pick up a ton of sticks and branches from the yard that the high winds brought down.
