Well all the snow is melting fast here in Battle Creek. I am amazed how much has melted over night, or least early this morning. Thinking about going out for a nice run, outisde... I cant wait...

Today Stac, hubby and I are hitting the mall for some sales and to use gift certificates. Lots of good sales yesterday too!! Making enchiladas for dinner too!!!
No plans for NYE- usually stay home- too many crazy people out there! Chat party sounds fun!

Today we are going out to see Johnny Benson Jr. and get his autograph. My son is very excited!!!
NYE - I bought tickets yesterday for the Grand Rapids Griffins game(hockey). We wont tell the kids til that night, but they are going to love going!

Morning Michiganders!!! Happy Saturday!
In my cup is coffee with protein (any whey) and my plans for NYE is "working baby". I got Christmas off so I have to work New Years Eve and Day. I dont mind the overtime is killer!!!
I'm at Shan's house for the weekend, this is simply fantastic!!!!!! Since Tuesday I've been surrounded by kids (first 2 girls 4 and 20 months) and that was good- even tho I'd never met the 20 mo old little one...then followed by a 9 year old and 4 year old in the Zoo (Kalamazoo) for a very long overdue visit. (Not that I don't love these kids but when you are not use to it, and parenting, you feel out of place!)
Yesterday morning, I drove to Jackson in icy slushy nasty roads, never went over 45-50 the whole way- saw at least 2 dozen cars in the ditch, flipped over, glass broken, etc - people speeding (like 4wd is gonna save you from a sheet of ice? dorks) but I just took my time and got here safely. Im quite excited to be wrapping my vacation up here -- I saved the BEST FOR LAST!!!!! :D
I believe shopping (hmmm, what to I need/want/must have?) is in the plans for today and a trip to Panera for some bagels!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is having a peaceful weekend -- and hope that you have great friends to share it with like I am lucky enough to have!

I'm sitting here getting motivated to clean up the house. Drinking water, as usual.
We're just doing boring stuff today.....grocery shopping, clean up, putting batteries in toys.
We never go out on NYE; too hard to find a babysitter! So we'll stay home and hang out and have munchies and ****tails. That might make the online chat more interesting LOL.
Still can't find a Wii anywhere, online or in a real store. We'll keep looking.

Well, it's not morning, but I decided to check in. Made it home today. Was stuck in Hillsdale an extra day due to the weather, which is fine. My in-laws' house is the next best thing to being at home in my own bed. Had lunch with a couple of OLD friends. One of them flies in from WA every Christmas and we always make time to catch up.
I got home about 3 and am getting ready for a dinner party tonight with some of my friends and their spouses.
Tomorrow, heading back to Hillsdale for nephew number 2's birthday. Spending the night at the in-law's again and then heading to TN Monday morning. Not sure if we'll be home yet on NYE or not. We may spend NYE in a hotel, somewhere along the way home from TN. We'll just see where the wind takes us! Tina
