Christmas Eve Coffee Anyone !!!!!
My best Christmas present is that this morning my scale said 192.5-I am so far into onederland that hopefully there is no looking back.
Have a safe and blessed holiday, my Michigan friends.
Good morning, Michigan! I woke up so early this morning. It reminded me of being a kid, waking up so excited on Christmas morning!
Click protein for me this morning and already 64oz of hydration in. If anyone out there is a caffeine drinker and likes a Mocha from one of the coffee shops, this maybe a protein powder you would enjoy. It is a bit more expensive then others, and the protein / carb (sugar) ratio isn't the best out there, but if you can't stand protein powders and this will help you get some in, it may be worth it to you. It has espresso, so as a decaf drinker typically, it gives me a BUZZ! Because of that, I don't drink it everyday, but enjoy it on occasion because I really like it. I have it around mainly for recipes.
Not going far away, just a bit north to my grandmother's home in Rockford. Luckily, nobody is coming to my home for anything (translation: I don't have to clean!). My mother has 9 siblings, and a majority either still live in the area or have a secondary home in Rockford. The holidays are always fun because each of them plans a different gathering at their individual home, and we all just kind of wander from place to place from Christmas Eve to New Years Day. We usually end up back at my Grandmother's home each evening to play games and cards. My numerous cousins and I are old enough (well some of us, I am the oldest at 42 and the youngest is still baking) to have our own celebrations, but we haven't moved up in the family hierarchy enough to do so! We are all actually pretty grateful for that, because not only does it mean we are still blessed to have our matriarch (my grandmother is 90 and very healthy), but we also know that once the matriarch is no longer the bind that keeps up all together, the complexity of more in-laws and new generations added will begin to change what we grew up with and so cherish.

Highest Known Weight = 370# / 59.7 bmi @ 5'6"
Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

Staying home or away? We will be going over to my parents house for Xmas, which is only about 3 miles away. So I guess you could say I am staying home.
I am at work today in Ann Arbor, and looking for an excure to excape a bit early. I even came in early, hoping to leave a bit early as well. Hopefully the roads will be better on the drive home this afternoon.
Everyone have a great Xmas...
In my cup, earlier, I had my Starbucks decaf, skinny cinnamon dolce latte venti and extra hot. So good after going to the gym.........
We're going through a snow melt down. Hope it doesn't all go away as it has been great snowshoeing........

Tonight we will be at my parent's house for dinner and presents. Then back home and celebrate Christmas, just the husband and me and the kids, in the morning. Tomorrow afternoon we will be at my brother-in-laws for dinner and the Christmas celebration with my husband's family.
