I'm at work, even if no one else is!!!!  It's so quiet here.  Everyone that is here is mad that we have to work today.  I'm not really upset, I'm glad that I have a job to go to!

My issue today is avoiding all of the goodies that people brought.  Tonight is the traditional Russian Orthodox meal at my in-laws house.  No worry about me over eating there!!

Have a Merry Christmas to those that celebrate..........a good day off to those that don't.

I'm drinking ocean spray cran-peach.   I'm not a coffee drinker.   Randy  my hubby cant wait to join you in plowing!   His tractor needs repair so he can get out to play in all this snow!!    HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS   whichever you celebrate.     or just enjoy good company if you don't celebrate.   Jo

Good Morning,

AHHHHHHHH, the last day at the mall prior to Christmas.  Yes, we are open until 6 p.m today, and Santa is still seeing children until then.

I had protien hot cocoa at 6:30 this morning, Bottle of water on my drive and now drinking a Starbucks Latte.    Not a busy day today, except for any issues that arrive.  I plan on finishing my wraping at work, and hiding everything in the back of my land rover until my son is in bed. 

We are staying home tomorrow.  My DH has to work a short shift, and I will have Christmas dinner waiting when he gets home.  Nothing fancy, ham, baked sweet potatoes, veggie, rolls and sugar free pie for dessert. 

We are going out on Saturday for Christmas at my dad's.

Pam, keep a close eye on your vehicle!  We had a family at school that was "hiding" all of her Christmas presents in the trunk of her car.  She went out one morning to start her car to warm up and somebody stole it and ALL OF HER KIDS' PRESENTS!    EEK!  She had some pricey stuff in there, too.

My presents are in the office with me now, and then home tonight.  We live way out , with family on both sides.  I think it will be ok.  I have a privacy screen that pulls over the back so you can't see anything.

I am having a bit of coffee this morning and trying to get caught up on some last minute things that I had planned on doing yesterday!  However, I woke up with white spots all over my tonsils and went to the doc.  I have strep throat!  GRRRRRRRR!!!  I don't have time for this, really!  So, nothing got done yesterday.  But I feel MUCH better today, surprisingly.  My fever went away last night about 8 and has not returned.  My throat even feels better today, but not perfect.  So, I caught it early, started on antibiotics yesterday, and today I'm no longer contagious. 

We will make our trip to Hillsdale for a few days.....once we get the car unstuck from the driveway.  It was nothing but ICE at 12:30 AM when my hubby got home from work.  He got stuck about 1/2 way up the drive.  Our driveway is on an incline, with a curve in it.  So that's where it's stuck, 1/2 way up at the curve.  He'll have to snowblow all the new stuff before we leave today.

We are going just an hour away for a few days.  But on the 29th, we are heading to TN to take my mom home.  We are playing it by ear on our return.  Neither of us has to be back to wor****il the 5th, so we may stay a few days in TN or stop along the way home somewhere.  We love traveling without plans!  Seriously.
