Good Morning Michigan, Looks like there more snow and freezing rain heading for all of us here in the great state. I'm drinking my old stand by and thinking I need to finish some shopping today. Whats in your cup?

Finished Christmas shopping? Noooo. With all this weather, we haven't. Will try to run out later today and finish. Gee, Christmas came up fast this year..

I started and finished yesterday.  I knew what I wanted to get.  I researched the stores in the area, online, and knew where to go to find the stuff I needed to get in stock.  Fortunately, I just have to buy for my 5 nephews, so I spent a fortune at Toys R Us yesterday.  Today, I'll wrap everything.  After I get home from the doctor's office that is.  I woke up with a sore throat and white spots all over my tonsils.  

Haven't had anything to drink yet this AM.  Maybe some water to start.  That seems to be the least painful thing I can think of drinking right now.  Have a great day everyone.  Tina

I'm just finishing up my morning "fake latte"  (steamed vanilla milk and vanilla cream coffee).  I'm gonna need to start on the Crystal Light as soon as I'm done cuz I'm feeling a bit dehydrated this morning.

QOTD -- finished?  I'll let you know when that happens.  I still have 5 gifts to buy (still have to figure out what those are going to be before I can buy them though).  One more that I'm hoping arrives in the mail in time for Christmas (c'mon FedEx, I know you can do it!).  One collage photo frame to load with photos, one SD card to load with photos (for the digital frame for my parents) and all the gifts to wrap.  Gee... who knew Christmas was so close, you'd think I'd have planned a bit better.

I was doing so well and got everything done early.  Then I remembered today that I forgot to get one component to the gifts I got for everyone in DH's family.  We got them all loaves of Panettone, which is italian bread with fruit and nuts in it.  Then we got mini bottles of real maple syrup and I was going to attach a killer recipe I have for french toast.  The plan was to print the recipe on cute little card stock or some kind of holiday paper.  I sat down to wrap last night and forgot the paper!!!  I do not want to run to JoAnn after work.   I can just imagine the traffic.  So now I'm deciding if there is something else I can do that is just as cute but not such a hassle.

I'm going in to work late today because that's the only time I could get a sitter.  Boss is not happy, but I think they'll get over it.  Yesterday I was the ham queen, today I'm in the doghouse.

I hope you all have a good day.  Stay warm!  Last night I slept in pjs, socks, and my lovely 3x hoodie under the electric blanket!!

I did the same thing.  Heating blanket, flannel pj's, sweatshirt....until my fever kicked in.  Then I started shedding clothes and blankets and had to turn off the blanket.

I sleep with my heated mattress pad on like 4 and 6 big blankets on top of me and 2 big a** dogs and I wake up in a sweat!  LOL  Better then being cold...my toes are ice right now!!

I finished my shopping this morning. Thank goodness Speedway has Barnes and Noble gift cards!!! I still need to wrap the kids presents and I am hoping to get that done tonight.

I have not starting shopping or wrapping......today is the day. I have a set of 5 year old twins so........I didn't want to travel both ways with all of their gifts so I decided to shop once I was down here.

I had my usual coffee protein drink.

Shopping?  Just finished last night at Macy's.  OMG - those ladies up in the perfume and makeup section were like vultures!!  So I get up to the register and I then realized I didn't have my wallet!!!!  Had to go out to my car to get my passport so they could look up my account number.  What a pain.  So now I have to bring everything across the border tonight.  And then start baking for Christmas Eve dinner with my family.  Busy, busy day!!!
