Hi Everyone,
I am almost 3 years out from my surgery date.  I am very happy that I had my surgery and I am doing good.  I have a lot of lose skin which is very depressing to me.  The thing that I am dealing with now is I REALLY want to lose more weight and donot know how to do it.  Or at least it seems.  I do exercise, I eat and take my vitamins like normal.  But, I want to lose about 30 lbs more.  My doctor also agrees before he does my TT then I will have to shed 30 more lbs.
I am feeling very depressed and I look in the mirror and just cry  because I am feeling so fat because of my loose skin.  Has anyone else felt this way?

Sincerely,
 Depressed and Aggervated

I think that everyone has. I am only 9 months out and seeing my excess skin does bother me but keep in mind that having excess skin is a small price to pay for your health and your life. I looked at your profile and from your photos there you have done very well. Hang in there and get on a shake regiment for that last 30 lbs. You will get  there.

Did you have RNY?  You could try the 5 day pouch test.  It is meant to get you back on track but it is also a excellent way to loose a couple of pounds and get you started again.  You can find it at the following link or try googling it.

Good Luck.

 Angel,

I totally understand how you feel. WIth the extra skin just "hanging" there, its hard to look lke you are toned, To lose more weight and have myself in the best most fittest position I can get to, I have really had to "up" my exercise routine, I do aerobic 4 times a week(45-60 minute)s either jogging ,taking an aerobic class or spinning class, I also make sure that I am including anerobic exercises (like core exercises or weight training)every other day to keep my metabolism "guessing" what I am going to do next. If I do the same thing for too many days in a row, my weightloss because stagnant. SO, try making some changes. it will make a difference- make sure you drink enough water and do start out the day with a healthy breakfast, Good Luck,,
Shake things up a little, the weight will start to follow....
