Good Morning Michigan, We made it home last night and the weather held off to after we got back. There about 3 inch;c to plow this morning . Drinking my old stand-by and taking in the farm report then the News. So what's in your cup?
The Q for the day............ Do you have trouble getting started in the morning?
For me its getting out of bed , Deb has to help me get moving my bones just don't want to work for the first hour in the morning I'm wide awake and have trouble moving anything

Woke up this morning to a mess.......a kid with stomach flu, and that's all I'm going to say about that.
I'm going to meet my mom for lunch at Panera and then off grocery shopping in the snow.
I managed to make my last gift last night, so now I just have to get wrapping.
To answer Randy's Q: I am not a morning person. I lay in bed every day wishing I could just sleep later. I'm a slow starter, I guess.

Good morning! My nephews went home last night, along with my mom, to my brother's house. So....around midnight, the house was silent...not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. LOL! I think i passed out from exhaustion.
Having some Christmas blend Starbucks. Not bad....a little strong for my taste, so I watered it down. We're watching "Step Brothers" this morning. Um....not one of my favorite Will Ferrel movies. Heading to Hillsdale later today for a little while.
Am I a morning person? Hmmmmm.....ya know, during the school year, when I HAVE to get up, I get up without any problems. Now during the summer, when I can sleep to my own schedule, I got to bed late and get up early. So, I guess I'm a morning person. Man, I'm lame. LOL!

Glad to hear you made it home okay. My Mom is driving down from Harrison this morning and I hope that everything is smooth for her. Unfortunately the roads down here is what might give her trouble.
I had some of my usual crystal light raspberry tea this morning and then got ready to do some more baking and getting things ready around here for the family coming later on today. I have already straightened the house, made some pumpkin bread, put together some cookie gift boxes and set out the stuff for lunch later on. They should be here by noon. I am just on a break. My DH is outside clearing the driveway.
I usually only have trouble getting out of bed if I do not get enough sleep at night. Otherwise I do really well. I have to get started as soon as I get up or within a little while or else I do not get alot done during the day.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr is all I can say..it is 3 degrees and the wind blows....literally! lol
Today is my lazy day- but have been doing laundry in between laziness. I am about to watch a movie in bed- both dogs are up here on the bed snoring too...lol
I have Monday off so I will be heading to Ann Arbor to finish my shopping and doing some errands.

Oh- the morning question. I wish I had trouble getting started in the am....I can NEVER sleep in...EVER!! I mean I try and try but my body just wakes up and then I smell coffee and am really up!!! It is good for when I work but sucks on weekends!! I do not even nap....wish I could..just cant sleep during the day?? Weird I know!!

I have hazelnut decaf W/ a little shot of my make ahead hot choc. in it.
No, I am not a morning person at all. I used to work 2nd shift at GM and my body clock got used to that and can't seem to shake it. However, over the years I have had lengths of time where I did get up early. For many years I did volunteer work at hospitals, hospice, extended care facilities, and etc. So I would have to get up early then, my DH and I had his dad living with us for the last 4 years of his life and got up early to take care of him.
It is messy here, snowing and blowing we are headed out into it to go to my parent's house to say goodbye to my BIL and niece.
