Ok Michiganders, let's have a count of snowfall in your area.

CMU closed down at 2pm today- and it took me 25 minutes to clean off the snow on my 4WD, and then I proceeded to get stuck in the
drive way.  Couple friends already emailed me and said they are "snowed in".....

I believe we got 6-7 inches and it's still lightly snowing.

Once it's done falling, I love it.  But while it's falling, ick.

Stay warm, safe, and be sure if you have to go out, take an emergency kit with you with blankets, candle (for warmth) and a flare and flashligh****er and some snacks and a portable radio if you have one.  Extra clothes are a good idea also.

Be safe and best wishes for a wonderful weekend- Winter officially starts tomorrow and Mother Nature dumped her wrath on us already.  Someone needs to bake her some cookies!!!!!

Based on the sides of the driveway after snowblowing, we've got a good foot.  Glad I didn't have to work today (or the next 2 weeks, for that matter! LOL!)

According to my mom who is in Western Kent county, right on the Ottawa county line (outside of Grand Rapids), we got about a foot.

Hopefully I can get in my driveway.

I don't know for sure because I have been inside and away from a radio/TV since the drive to work this morning, but the drive was treacherous, one of the worst I can remember.

We have a very pretty  3 ft drift curving around the corner of the house!   about 11 " on the flat  of the drive way.  Have to admit  hubby doesn't see the pretty in my drift when hes the one who is out shoveling  a path through it !!

In Westland, a 'burb of Detroit, we got............... A LOT!  LOL

I realized today that I do not know how to drive in the snow.  I avoid it, and for good reason.  Maybe someday I should learn, huh?

A hell of a LOT!!!!! I dunno. At least a foot. My sister said there were drifts in her driveway going all the way up to the door handle of her car.

DH and I watched the weather channel before we went out, it said Bridgeport got 11.5 inches and counting. It was snowing again tonight when my family had dinner here downtown. My BIL wanted to walk back to our house from the restaurant in the snow. He is from Fla. and did not realize what he was getting himself into. We made it home just fine though, his teeth were chattering quite a bit, but he did it.

Did I ever tell you I am originally from Bridgeport? My husband and I were married at St. Matthews on Portsmouth and King. Our rehearsal was at Zehnders. I love Frankenmuth.
