Friday YEA TGIF GOOD MORNING
Afternoon fellow Michigander's. Being a dedicated employee
I made the 23 mile drive into work. It's all back country roads there and to my amazement at 8:00 they were pretty clear. Almsot had heart failure to see a county snow plow on this one road asirt rarely is plowed..
At 10:00 the boss calls and says it's too bad so after I get the mail anfd make the bank deposit (if needed) I should close the office and go home. . So that is what I did.
Going to the post office I got stuck twice and then stuck again trying to get out of the village's parking lot as they had plowed and of course that was right in fornt of my car. I had made tracks to back out but lo & behold someone decided it looked like a nice place to park so I had no choice but to go forward into the 3 feet snowbank.. I wisely shovelled that out but when I got to the street there was another bank of snow from the plows and YEP I was stuck again. GRRR Trip home was slow but steady so I ma glad to be here.
BUT THERE'A AN UPSIDE TO ALLTHIS SNOW RIGHT??? That is all those people out in Vegas who thumb their noses at us when it's cold etc. They too have snow. As does Baton Rouge, LA. I love it as I have friends who live in both places.! I asked them, "Why should Michigan and the rest of Midwest be the only ones "blessed" by this weather??"
So when the shovelling gets to ya' think of all those warm weathered sissies who can't deal with it nearly as well or efficient as we do.

Boy Shannon,
You are a dedicated employee too, I know the 4 WD helps a lot. We have it on our trailblazer too and love it. I am going to build a huge snowman this weekend, with my 15yr old niece from Fla. and my great nephew who is 4 ( so I will have lots of expert help).
Stay warm this weekend All !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
