Which I guess is good becasue I will bet the snow we are due for... (just hope it is safe driving home lol) well.. Hope everyone enjoys there Friday...

Morning Lindsay and the rest of Michigan, I'm drinking my old stand by. Chores are done and waiting on the snow to plow. There saying 8-12 inch's here.

This weekend, I'm planning to go to Jackson for X-Mass in the morning........Maybe, Back on Sunday........Maybe, or go down for the the day.......Maybe

No School the rest of the year so Deb is home with me. Have a safe travel day and stay warm

I hope your drive in was good, but your drive home will be a pain.

I got up early this morning to watch the snow... Well actually I could not sleep. My boss closed our clinic yesterday for today after finding out about the snow. He did not want us girls to drive in it and he did not want the clients to worry about driving in it either.

I am planning on baking cookies today, while finishing cleaning up the house. I work tomorrow morning and might go down to Hard Rock with some of my bariatric friends. Then Sunday is my family's holiday party here at my house.. So I will have a housefull. It will be a busy weekend.

It is good to be up this early and watch the snow so untouched... I love watching it come down. Thank goodness I have a great DH who goes out and snowblows it for me!!

I am already at work this morning. Luckily we planned for the kids to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's last night. My husband got called out at 6 am to plow.

This weekend is just going to be a relaxing a weekend and I need to get my presents wrapped. Sunday morning we will go to church for a Live Nativity display that the kids are participating in.

I'm home from work, today, too.  The students' last day of school was yesterday, but today was supposed to "records day" for the teachers, but they cancelled that last night.  So, a nice little treat to begin christmas break. 

My plans for the weekend are to stay home.  I stopped at the store on my way home last night.  OMG....THE PLACE WAS PACKED!  You woulda thought there was a winter storm coming or something.  I thought about making cookies.  I'll have to see if I have all the ingredients.  My mom is at my house for the week, so my family may be coming for breakfast tomorrow.  We shall see.

I called into work today.  The 150 mile drive just didn't seem all that fun today.  So I made a chocolate peanut butter protein shake this morning and plan to make a pot of chili and some beef jerky later. 

No big plans this weekend.  Need to get some gifts wrapped.  Get some photos printed for a couple collage frames I'll be giving as gifts and figure out what I'm going to get my nieces and nephews as their "second gift".

Hey Pam,

I just unloaded turkey jerky out of the dehydrater, I had it going all night. Good stuff huh ?

 This will be my first experiment with making jerky.  I just discovered a couple weeks ago that I really like it .. but the commercial stuff is a bit too tough for my pour teeth.  Doc said I need to add sodium to my diet, so jerky fits the bill perfectly.  

Hopefully it turns out.  :-)

I had that problem too!!!!!!!!!! I almost passed out from it and had to go to the ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was scarey and did not know what was happening to me. Every since I have added more salt things have been better. However, I did put on about 5lbs when he told me to do that, I would rather have the 5lbs than to go through that ordeal again.

Yes, the jerky would be good for that, we will have to trade recipes............lol

Good Morning all!

Snow is falling thick in Central Michigan, work won't be cancelled but they may shut down campus.  I can't even see the luggage racks on my truck! :O

Weekend plans- work work and work thru Tuesday, in which I depart for my Holiday Vacation in a circle starting in Kalamazoo, and saving the very best for last by wrapping it up in Michigan Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I hope the snow stops by Tuesday- but I'm not worried with 4WD!!!  Never stopped me before!!!

I'm drinking my holiday blend coffee again with Any Whey in it....and watching the snow fall out my kitchen window.  It's windy and blustery and just outright ugly out there but I'm not going out until I have to go to work later today at 4pm.
