Heard the heartbeat today!

My hubby and I heard The baby Heartbeat today, so strong!!!!! I bursted out in Tears. Our lil Miracle! It was 155! fast lil booger! lol
So far everything with my Pregnancy is going well. I did lose 8lbs though, MY OB said that is completely normal with the First trimester, since im really nauseas.

Hey, Kim.  Isn't it great to hear?  How far along are you again?  I've had 5 ultrasounds.  No problems, my docs just do ultrasounds.  The first one we had at 5w3d.  At that one, we saw the heartbeat.  A week later, at 6w3d, we got to hear the heartbeat.  At my first OB appt, I was 10w5d.  Again, got to see the heartbeat.  At 13w2d, I had my 1st tri-mester screen.  That was an incredible ultrasound with the perinatals.  Their machine was very detailed.  Got to see the baby for about 30-40 minutes.  Heard the heartbeat and all was fabulous.  At my last OB appt, last week, I got to see and hear it again!  It's so great.  Really gives me peace of mind as I TOTALLY DO NOT FEEL PREGNANT.  I'm 16 weeks now and my next appointment is January 5th.  That will be our 20 week fetal survey, so we should get to find out the gender that day, too!  Can't wait!

PS - I've lost 10 pounds since I found I'm pregnant.  I seem to be eating everything, too! LOL! 

Its one amazing sound! I just sat there in tears. I never thought Id be a mommy. Its amazing. Im 10w! I go again jan 5th to see my OB.  My due Date is JULY 4th!  

I thought I was gaining too! It seems like Im eating everything. But 8lbs gone. My Dr wants me to gain at least 30lbs.  EEEKKK LOL. It will be worth it though.

I go in 2 weeks go get my Full integrated Screening test, to check for Downs and Spinal Bifida.

The only thing I "feel" is that Im nauseas 24/7. I havent puked yet, but it feel like I should!

I was lucky in that I only felt nausea a day or two.  My doc hasn't said a word about how much to gain or anything.  

I hear ya on not thinking this would ever happen.  Hubby and I have been married 18 years, together over 20.  This is a LONG time coming for us.  Tina

Congratulations!  This is a wonderous time....I miss having babies and the excitement of pregnancy.  Ya know....I remember when I first started researching my surgery and reading on the Michigan site, and you had just had your surgery.  I remember thinking you had this cutest little face with darling dimples.   Look at you now, all skinny and pretty and expecting too!   What a miracle it all is, eh??

Aww yeah, i still got them dimples! LOL I remember losing weight and think my face would be all sunk in with my dimples, if I ever got really skinny! LMAO
