That's how I was yesterday at the store.  The Meijer's that I go to, in AA, is even worse!  I don't even go down the 'frozen' aisles, if I absolutely don't have to!
Before surgery, I was ALWAYS hot.  I hardly wore sweaters or turtlenecks.  I would get so hot with a winter coat on!  I had to have cool air on me at night.  So I ran the fan all winter.  Hubby would complain too much if I opened the window.

Well, he was over the road most of the time.  So it was just me and the pooch!  It was just as well because when he was home we'd argue about it.

Can't say I was always hot before WLS.  I just know I wasn't freezing like I am now.  I feel like a popsicle right now!!!

So there is few ways to stay warm. On a monday morning !!!!

New Q....... What does it take to get you to exercise,  at less 20 mins, once a day?
I never did it before surgery and know I do it out of habit anymore, It's become  a daily thing like putting on my pants....lol

When I find out, I'll let you know!  Cuz spending $100 a month on our gym membership isn't usually enough to do it.  Although, I used to love to go to the gym, but I just can't get back into the habit again.  I sure wish I could find something to get me going.

Good afternoon all. Its a pretty bad day at work today, job cuts and layoffs. I am hiding for most of the day trying to remain employed. I have not figured how to stay warm yet. Bun in oven does help though. I do get a few hot flashes. I would love a mattress pad warmer. Well have a great rest of the day.

What's in my cup?  The same as every other morning...first thing...I need to have some tea.  With a scoop of Upcal D in it.  I'm not sure how much calcium RNY'ers need to have, but we DS'ers need a lot.    Upcal D is flavorless and dissolves readily in anything.  It provides, I think 600 mg of calcium and some D.    Everytime I drink a cup of tea, I pour a tiny scoop in it.

As to how I remain warm?  Boy, that's been a tough issue for me.   I hate this time of year, because I still have not acclimated to the cold yet.   I have a long down coat, I have fallen in love with merino wool sweaters (I purchase them off of Ebay) and I wear NOTHING but wool socks this time of year.    Everybody asks me what I want for Christmas?  Wool socks!   My  sweetie is a very warm-blooded man.....like a human furnace.   The other day I sighed and said to him "What would I ever do without you?"  And he said "You'd freeze to death."
