Good Morning Michigan, Looks like a winter storm moving in for us in the north overnight. Get out the plows again,,..lol
I'm drinking the same old coffee, from yesterday. What's in your cup this A.M.?

The Q for the day............... What is [1] one way to stay warm that you never did before your surgery?

For me .... I sleep with a mattress pad warmer... It helps big time

Good Morning!
I have started to picture Randy sitting in a yoga position in a barn contemplating the WLS questions of the day........ LOL

I wear extra clothes around the house and use the sauna and whirlpool at the gym to get warm.  Before surgery I was only cold outside.  I never wore socks to bed or slippers or anything.

I do have an old hoodie.....it's a 3x and I bought it years ago at scout camp because it was chilly one night.  I remember hoping that they would have something in the camp store that fit me and that jacket barely did.  I wear it around the house now and it's huge but it's a cool reminder of where I don't want to be again.

Good morning, Randy and Brenda!  I was watching the news this AM, Randy, and the storm is UP THERE, according to the news DOWN HERE!  So keep it, please!

I tried to have a bit of coffee this AM, but it is NOT liking me this AM.  I think I might actually be a bit dehydrated, so I'm about to finish my first 32oz of bottled water.  I don't do Crystal Light or anything like that.  Just plain water, 99% of the time.

What is one way to stay warm that you never did before surgery?  Well, there is one way that I know of to stay warm, but I did that before surgery, too!  HAHAHA!!   Anyway, when I am at home, I am in flannel pj bottoms, a tee shirt and a sweatshirt, socks, slippers and a flannel quilt.  In bed, I usually lose the sweatshirt, but keep the socks and the flannel pj bottoms.  I have three blankets on my bed, to include another flannel quilt.  And sometimes, I get out my electric blanket.  In the summer time, I actually TURN THE AC OFF!  LOL!!!  I hate coming inside from the pool to a freezing house!  Right now, I'm wearing a sweater, turtleneck and a fleece jacket.  I don't know how these scrawny little kids can stand being in here wearing short sleeve shirts!!!  They must be little furnaces.  I swear the air is on in here today!

Hey Tina!

I got a question for you...are you warmer with that little "bun" in the oven?  When I was pregnant (this was b4 WLS) I was so hot all the time.  At night in like November, December, I had to open the bedroom window.  I was on fire!!!  My husband couldn't stand it!  Was just curious.....

I haven't really noticed an increase in me staying warm.  I do sometimes get a little warm at night and kick the covers off, but most days I wear a fleece jacket at school, all day.  I can't tolerate being cold anymore!  That's most of the reason why I stayed inside all weekend.  I HAD to go get some groceries, though.  Seriously, the grocery store is one of THEE coldest stores I've ever been in.  Maybe a little further along I'll notice....when I start waddling around....LOL!

Maybe it's just me with my raging hormones!!!  I even still to this day get really hot when I am "hormonal"....lol.  But of course right now, I am freezing to death at work!!!!  I am sitting at my desk wearing my huge wool sweater over my top.  My nose, hands and feet are freezing.  I feel like I am going to shiver to death!  I agree about the grocery store.  Last time I went in, I kept my coat done up, scarf and gloves on the whole time I was there!!  lol...
