I have something to say....
I am pregnant. Whoo got that out. Obviously unplanned but i am still happy about it. I know there are some that will be upset because I didn't follow doctor's instruction and wait and use birth control. However, this has happened and I am happy about it. I know it will be difficult nutritionally but I know I can handle it. I appreciate you taking this time to read about this and welcome all comments good and bad. My due date is 8-11-09.
WOW! Congrats! I know that it's not recommended that you get pregnant in the 1st year post-op, but I know that it's happened to many others and they have gone on to have healthy babies. You just have to be more vigilante about your protein and what not. Actually, I remember reading about someone on the August 05 board, that was pregnant when she had surgery. Nobody knew it. She was 3 weeks at time of surgery. I don't remember who it was, but do remember her saying that her cycles were never regular and it was the last thing anyone ever would've imagined. It was 3 years ago that this was on the Aug 05 board. As far as I know, everything turned out ok for her and the baby.
