Tummy Tuck Questions!!!!

My TT is scheduled for December 29th!  I would like to know how long you were off if you had one.  I am having the vertical as well.  I have heard anywhere between 2 weeks to 6 weeks.  And how painful was it?  Comparable to a c-section?  I have had a c-section and gastric bypass...neither were all that bad for me!  Also, How many pounds were you down after your tt????  I am trying to figure out if I should work on losing my last 15 pounds now or after my tt?  My surgeon told me that I don't have to worry about losing any more weight it's optional...HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I was off 8 weeks beucase at the same time I had a hysterectomy.  I was cut hip to hip, when you leave the hospital you will  have drains that need to be emptied and you have to  measure the output, its easy and the hospital will show you  how to do it before you leave.  I was down 135 when I had mine and I had about 15 to go.  I am still 15 higher than I should be after 5 years and I am ok with that.  The procedure hurts like hell but it will be so worth it.  Take the pain medication and you will be fine.

I had the anchor TT. I was off for 2 months! To be compelely honest, I WILL NEVER HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY AGAIN! LOL to me it was SOOOOOOOOOO PAINFUL! Not the skin removal, But My muscle tighting underneath! If you just have the skin removed then it wont be bad! They took almost 10lbs of skin off.  And then Since I was in a lot of pain, I lost even more weight and my Dr said I actually needed to Put on a couple Lbs bc I was losing too much too fast.  I couldnt eat, but I forced myself too. It was just too painful. My tummy was SO TIGHT, I couldnt put anything in it. I know it sounds odd, But its true.
