Tuesday Coffee Everyone !!!!

Well Good Morning Michigan, What happened to everyone yesterday busy talking about Tina new Baby? Outside shoveling the wet snow around? Getting ready for Black Friday?
We are going to Jackson to my Daughter home for Thanksgiving Dinner. Are you staying Home or going on a Trip somewhere?

Good Morning.....checking in with the morning report.

I'm at work with my portable heater blowing on my butt.  Ahhhhhh it feels great and keeps my menopausal boss (hot flashes) away from my office.  Bonus!!

I don't shop on Black Friday just on principle.  (Especially at Wal Mart, but I won't start with that).  I stay home and thank God I am not at work!  I'm not much of a turkey dinner or leftover person, so I just hang out and watch everyone else polish off the stuff in the frige.

Ooops, it's 8am and I had better get to work.

Good Morning

Going to my parents for Thanksgiving.  It started out with them, me and my brother and our two boys - 6 total, cool.  Now it is at  15 and continually growing.  Almost the whole family, except for my younger sister who is in Oklahoma visiting her 2 oldest children. 

I am making rolls, pies (some sugar free of course) and sweet potatoes - just plain baked, no syrupy stuff on them.  Sounds like we will have more food than we need, but we always do.   I have to start baking pies tonight to get all of them done in time.  2 pumpkin - 1 sugar free, Apple, Cherry, Chocolate creme and a Sugar free Cocanut Creme.  My hubby has to work, so he requested I pick him up a ribeye that he can throw on the Foreman when he gets home. 

Busy day at work, better get hoppin

Pam, How do you make your S/F Cocanut Cream pie ? Does Cocanut come in S/F I was told that its full of Sugar and can't be made by Deb. She said the filling can be S/F but not the Cocanut

I get natural coconut at the health food store that is not coated with sugar.  It is literally shaved coconut.    I use SF vanilla pudding and dream whip, (which isn't sugar free, but is very low in sugar) and cocanut flavoring and the natural coconut.

PS did my sister ever contact you?  They were told it is 6 months before Dr Cujoe and do a lap band.    She is even willing to get one to help support him.

Not sure if you have a Meijer out there in the boonies, but that's where I get my unsweetened coconut.  It's in the isle where they have all the special diet stuff, like gluten free crackers and all that.  In my Meijer it's on the bottom shelf right next to the section with the spices. 

Also most health food stores will have it.

We are going to kevin's parents house for thanksgiving, though we are in saginaw right now taking care of my brother in law and the dogs while my sister is in Florida, she comes home wednesday.

Yeah, I'm with Brenda.  I HATE shopping on Black Friday.  To me, it just exacerbates the whole COMMERCIAL aspect of Christmas.  But that's just me! I would rather pay extra than put up with the CRAZINESS of shopping on the day after Thanksgiving!  OY!  I really can't think of ANYTHING I need that badly! LOL!  I went shopping on the day after Christmas, once.  Never again! 

Anyway, 1/2 day of school tomorrow, then heading to Hillsdale around 1.  We'll be there most of the weekend. Then back home to work on the baby's room. We're getting ready to do hardwood floors in our upstairs bedrooms and carpet the baby's room.  It's all still so surreal!
