Thursday Morning Coffee !!!

Good Mornng Michigan, Well I got my Venison last night so I do not have to sit in the cold. Drinking my old stand by and getting ready to go to the Dentest  for a cleaning. Hope they do it since I am sick? Chores are done and I can stay in after my apt.

MMMM I am so jealous.   I wish I had some.  I need to find me a husband to shoot em for me so I can have some too. lol.   I hope you are feeling better today.  Dentists are ick... I am a big chicken when going to the dentist.  I have so much to do on my day off today.  My older son is moving back home.  He was lonely in North Carolina all by himself.  I don't blame him.

I am so glad my hubby doesn't go hunting (talks about going, but hasn't).  I can't stand venison.  When I tell people that, they always say, "You've just not had it cooked the right way."  I have had it cooked almost everyway it can be and I still don't like it!  But I know the size of the deer herd is HUGE, so it's a good thing people like to hunt.  My brother and his family hunt for the meat.  My brother got 2 last weekend.  They LOVE venison!  I told me hubby he can go hunting, that's fine.  We'll just donate the meat!  Tina

Well I can't even say I don't like it because I've never even tried it.  Don't plan on it, don't want to - plain & simple. 

I had pheasant, once.  It was gross, too.  Froglegs, ick..tasted like fish.  I had squirrel once at my Great-Grandma's house when I was about 9.  Didn't know any better...thought it was fried chicken.  I don't think I could eat it today. 

OMG!!!!  Froglegs????  EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!  You're killing me Tina!!!!

Oh come on, don't hate it till you try it... Maybe I will drop off a few steaks for you the next week when at the Doc's.

I might even have some Bear meat in the freezer.

It can be cooked anyway you wanna cook it I don't care for it.Everyones life is on hold up here for two weeks.LOL, they are all out at camp and I have a beautiful six pointer at my bird feeder.These hunters buy cabbage,apples,beets and pumpkins when all they need is a bird feeder and a bag of bird seed! Have a great day from the UP.
