It's Monday, go back to bed!

Hi everyone,
I'm in my office, freezing as usual.  I have the Christmas music cranked up, and my co-workers hate me for it.  What a bunch of Grinches!

How the heck do people exercise outside when it's cold?  I took the dog for a run last night and fell on my butt twice.  The dog thought it was hilarious.

Just to make this a WLS related post, I'll ask this:  what do you do over the holidays to either not overeat or to make family members leave you alone about not eating enough?  Do you find that people stare at you during meal time to see what you eat?  That drives me crazy, but I don't say too much because I guess I would do it too if the situation were reversed.

Keep warm today.....have a good one.

I would have loved TO STAY IN BED today.  Hubby's on vacation for the next 2 weeks, so I would much rather be at home.  Plus, what's up with this?  We got about 2-3 inches of snow over the weekend.  I get east of home, into AA and Ypsi and NO SNOW!  There wasn't even a dusting here at work.

I don't care what people think about my eating habits.  If I'm hungry, I eat.  I, on the other hand, do notice that I eat WAY less than everyone else.  But I would never say anything.  And nobody has ever said anything to me about what or how much or how little I eat.   I just never really pay attention.   If they are that concerned and do talk about it, they never say anything to me.  I guess I would just ignore it.  I don't eat for them.  I eat for me.

I broke out the sweater and turtleneck today!  AND BOOTS!

Enjoy the day!  Tina

I am sorry that you are so cold, its chilly here too if it makes ya feel any better.... but I am at home....

I could almost hear your dog laughing at ya when ya fell....

Since I am newly out, my father in law is the only one who asks "want some more?" And all I say is "yeah right."  Then he stops and realizes it.... but other than that, I couldn't careless what people say about me eating....

Cold here this morning too.  Spent part of the weekend making hats and mittens for my 5 year old.  He would not wear anything we found at the store.  Off to Joanne's and hit the fleece.  He found 5 different patterns of material.   He was so proud this morning.  He stopped the school principal to ask him if he liked his hat and mittens cause his mom made them.

Today is catch up day in the office.  I was off part of Thursday and Friday.  Got called in twice over the weekend, so I wonder why I take time off.

Randy, be careful in the woods.  My brother in law had a heart attack this weekend after he shot is buck.  He has been talking about doing lap band, my sister and niece are pressing it big time.

In order to not over eat or eat things that I shouldn't, I usually take charge and pull the family menus together.   People always stare when I eat.  I feel like I have to explain to the waitress when I order a full meal  why I don't eat it all.  My dad likes taking me out to eat, he eats what I don't generally.

Maybe this will let him know the path he is on is the wrong one and he needs to change before he kills himself.
I always here and you have my E

My office is 110 degrees and in the basement (they call it the first floor to delude us, but its underground and without windows, so in Michigan that makes it a basement.) I am looking forward to going out into the cold!
