St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia!

Howdy All,
    Does anyone know when the next support group is at St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia?

Just had my surgery there on Tuesday and all is well - Mary said that it will not be a support group for December but a Christmas Party for patients so if you had your surgery there you will get a card for it.

Sorry I don't know, but I would call to find out. I have my surgery with Dr. Zeni in January.

I spoke with the receptionist, Angie, on Thursday & she told me that patients other than Dr. Zeni's can come to that party. They request that you bring either a pair of gloves/mittens, hat or scarf for a child (new items only, please), which will be donated through the Sisters of Mercy.

Also, bring a bariatric-friendly appetizer to share and a White Elephant-type gift to exchange (something hideous lying around your house--spouses not included hehehe). Personally, I think the party is a nice way to bring together bariatric patients from the area, regardless of where you've had your procedure!
