Hi guys,
Drinking my sf cocoa and planning my day.  The line to vote is HUGE so I'm thinking of going around 10am when it dies down.

Today was supposed to be my day off, but I'm working anyway.  Tomorrow is a thrilling seminar about Michigan Unemployment Insurance!  Woohoo!

I'm also making cupcakes for my son's dress rehersal.  He's in the play at school and has to bring a snack in for everyone.

So what are you doing today?

I am at work sipping on water. I went and voted this morning and was done by 7:30 am. *yippee*

I am wearing a dress for the first time in who knows how long to work! It feels kind of odd, but good at the same time!

Good Morning!

Well so far I've had my coffee & protein drink.  Working on a cup of decaf green tea and my water.  Did 1 hr on the treadmill last night....whooo hooo!!!!

I can't vote.  I'm an American citizen but reside in another country.  So, I can't vote in either country.  In Canada, I'm a landed immigrant.  Someone said I'm a woman with no country.  Huh?  Never thought of it that way.

Other than that, I'm at work doing my thing.

Have a good day everyone!

Really?  You can't vote?  Not even absentee?  Military men and women who live in other countries vote, all by absentee ballot.  I thought you could vote, as an american citizen, regardless of where you lived.  Hmmmmm....didn't know that.

Not that I'm doubting you....I just didn't know that.

Nope.  I have status in Canada.  I'm a landed immigrant.  Sounds weird.  My parents too.  They live in Canada.  I can't even be called for jury duty.  If I get a speeding ticket here, it does not go on my record.  And trust me, I know - unfortunately!

Hey There

I only had to work half a day today since my boss didnt want us to stand in lines today to vote.. Nice for me but I always wait for DH to come home before I vote. It is a tradition that we go together to vote.

I am so excited to get out and vote today... I can't believe that women fought so hard so many years ago to pass the amendment to give me the right to vote. (I did a report on the suffrage movement in college so I am sentimental about this)

Other than that I am just going to clean up the house before DH gets home and make a good dinner instead of take out tonight.

I started on track again this morning. For the past couple of months I have been eating a bagel for breakfast so I started doing yogurt again today and I gave away the rest of the Halloween candy.

I was at a conference at COBO all day....well, most of the day.  Haven't voted yet, today, but hubby adn I are getting ready to head out here pretty soon.  We vote in our local township hall...on a dirt road.  Even when it's busy, it's not that long of a wait.  We shall see!

Beautiful day out!  But you probably already knew that since the day is nearly done!
