Christina K's surgery.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Christina K had her surgery yesterday and it went very well. Her mom called me yesterday to let me know that everything was fine. Her surgeon said everything went as planned with no complications. Yay!!  She's sore (of course) but other than that she's doing fine. Her expected hospital stay is 3-4 days so she should be home maybe tomorrow.

Hi all... I am back home and am just a little sore with gas pains, but other than that its pretty easy going... Just need to get rid of the gas and I will feel much better... I was up walking about 5 hours after surgery, and then I was in and out of bed a lot the next day.... Then Thursday came around and they booted me out :)  Just cuz I was doing so darn good... hadn't had any pain killers today at all.  And I am ok with that.... I am about to get up and go for a walk. I just took a nap for a bit, but this gas has got to go.....

That is great to hear.  Do yourself a favor and stay off the scales for a couple of days.  You may have alot of water weight after surgery.

I am walking and I am TRYING to sip, I catch myself and actualy spit it out before I swallow it, which is good, but still... The only complaint is the gas and that I can tolerate for now.... I planned on staying off the scale, I do want to see how much I gained though (think its funny kinda that you go in for WLS and you gain weight later Chris
