Wet Start to a new day, How is everyone this morning?
I drinking the Old Stand-by and thinking of something to do on a rainy day any suggestion?
I'm Hoping to get my Truck out of the shop today and get it home...
Deb and I are going to the support group in Alma tonight. Is there anyone from the site going?

Just another day so far.... Have some drs appts today and hitting the gym today, but we just may swim for an hour or so....
Crystal light today and maybe some water--
Suggestions for a rainy day, well I would say "sleep" in my lazier days, (which I still have on occassion) but today will be a good day to do laundry and watch some movies....

Good Morning Michigan
Going to the Dentist this morning (only for a cleaning), stopping in the office, packing for a trip this weekend, shopping for a wedding shower gift, a birthday present for my grandson (he will be 13), and my Son in law. Lots of birthdays this month, mine is coming up too....eeeek! I will be 53.
When in the midst of winter I always say "Why do I live here in this cold wet state?"
But oh is it pretty to see the seasons.
So thats my day. Hey Randy, you asked for a suggestion about what you could do today, you could shop for me for my 13 year old grandson, Ha, any ideas? He is a computer, robot building, lego, kinda kid.

Debbie, I don't have any transportation and I can not stand to go shopping for anything....I love it in the woods of Northern Michigan where the closest person around are home is 1 mile away... You would not like to live here shopping is 45 Min's away for anything ... We go once a month

I have a birthday coming too...
not really looking forward to it. My youngest daughter will be 10 on Friday. I'm letting her take the day off school and we are going to spend the day together. She wants to go to Build a Bear at the mall and get a 3rd bear. We are going to see the new Chi-wa-wa movie - can't wait. Then she gets to pick where she wants to have dinner.
As far as your grandson....I know my 14 year old daughter loves to shop. What about giving him a gift card to one of his favorite stores. My daughter gets gift cards all the time to the bookstore - you'd think she won the lotto! She loves to read - she's turned into a bookworm!

Thank you so much for the suggestion. My "going to be 13 year old grandson", is also a bookworm, my grandsons are home schooled and they are doing so well, My daughter says she has caught him up at night reading when he is suppose to be sleeping, he takes a flashlight and sits up and reads for hours in bed. So what a good idea, thank you so much.
Sounds like you are going to have so much fun on Friday. I use to do that with my daughter when she was little. Now I do those things with my grandkids...I just love love love being a grandma. And I am glad I was young when I started. I was pregnant for my daughter at 16.
