I go for my consultation on Wed. the 8th, just looking for comments or just want to know how you like their program, seems like they give a lot of support. From looking at the website they have an extensive program in place.

I am not their patient but I work at the DMC and they have great reputations. You would be in excellent hands.

They have a website??  Interesting.  I'd like to take a look at it if you don't mind sharing.  I just made a post looking for their contact info since I didn't receive notice when they moved...either time.  I take that back, I DID get the notice from when they split with CORI a year after the fact and after I had already tracked them down.  Good luck with your consult and your surgery. :)

I had bypass surgery on Aug 26. Dr. Woods is/was my surgeon. He is kind, compassionate, intelligent and funny. He really seems to care alot about the success of his patients. I haven't experienced not one bad day related to the actual surgery. (I'm learning alot about myself and what I can and cannot do, but that's my own responsibility). The office staff are open and receptive to most all of my questions and requests. Together the doctors and staff are awesome.

Hi - sorry my response is a little tardy but I don't get to this website much anymore - too busy!!  I hope your consultation went well.

Dr. Wood did my gastric bypass in May 2006.  My surgery was free of complications and my stay at Harper Hospital was just fine.  I've had absolutely no complications in the 2 1/2 years since my surgery and I've lost a total of 112 pounds.  I am still 10 pounds from my goal of a normal BMI but honestly, I'm not at all disappointed to be where I am.  I also had a tummy tuck (and a facelift!) earlier this year so I feel even more that my journey has been successful.  Dr. Wood and Dr. Taylor are both wonderful - - I have nothing but the greatest respect for them and what they do. The support program they offer is well-attended (I still attend regularly) and the office staff are all very friendly, professional and supportive.  If you choose either Dr. Wood or Taylor, you will be in "good hands"!!!

Good luck!

DITTO, for Dr. Woods, I think he's a great surgeon.  I had my surgery Oct. of 2006 and have lost 150 lbs.  It has changed my life also.  Going tomarrow for a consultation for a TT.
Your making a good choice in Doctors.  Good Luck and keep the Faith.
