Hi Randy and everyone else,
I am trying to do some research on the "bail out". I don't know much about it, but feel that I need to learn as much as I can about what's going on.
It's dark here again this morning. That's what I don't like about winter. It's dark and cold in my office, so I crank the heat. Then it gets dark and warm, and all I want to do is take a nap!
In my quest for losing my last big chunk of weight....I started eating a healthy snack around 9pm and I've lost 2 lbs. in about 10 days. Not a whole lot, but it's better than gaining! I don't think I'll ever get even close to goal, but I'd like to lose about 15 lbs. before my TT. I am thinking of waiting until February break to have it done.
Hope you all have a good day!

Congrads on getting over your stall , Sometimes you have to eat to keep lossing weight...lol But it works go fuguire..lol
Well, I'm not exactly for a bail out because a lot of these banks are in trouble because they got greedy. I personally know someone that bought a house a few years ago. It's nothing too special, but they took out a mortgage for 135% of the value of the home. Now they want to move but can't get rid of their house because they owe about $40,000 more than what it's currently worth. But the bank didn't take into consideration that they barely made enough to pay that mortgage that was written for more than the value of the house. It's sad that banks allowed that (which was a bill signed by Bill Clinton when he was president that allowed the banks to do that). So many people were given mortgages that were more than they could afford. Misuse of credit has allowed people to live beyond their means, in some cases.
On the flip side of that, if there's no money to lend then no one will be buying new cars and that puts my hubby out of a job. I don't believe the auto makers, in the conditions that they are in, will make it through this. It's kinda scary. Of course, working for one of the FORMER big three has been scary for the last few years. He's been lucky to maintain his job through all of the cuts.
Did you know that China owns somewhere in the neighborhood of $600 Billion to $1 Trillion in US T-bills? If they start selling them off (or cashing them in), it will bankrupt the US. It's all very scary.
How's that for light discussion on a weight loss message board?
