Michigan Obesity Surgical Specialists/Great Lakes Weight Loss Center

Hello,
I have been given a date of 10/7/08 in Michigan at Great Lakes Weight Loss Center - PREVIOUSLY NAMED: Great Lakes Weight Loss Center.
Just checking if anyone has had surgery there?
I will be coming in from Chicago and wondered about the Guest Housing & International Center (on hospital campus). DH & I were thinking of coming in a day before and staying 3 nights. The place isn't open today - I'll call in the morning to see if they allow that many days.  DH is very familiar with Detroit, so we'll easily find a hotel if needed.

I've been searching and having found where anyone here has had surgery here.
My surgeon is Dr. Webber.

Yes, that's correct - Harper Hospital.

Harper is a great hospital, I am a DMC employee and have been a patient at Harper twice in the last 16 months.  The nursing staff is great.  I wish you all the best.

Actually I have a typo in my original message - it was previously named - Michigan Obesity Surgical Specialists.

I have a question or two about the overnight stay, etc.

Dr J.Webber is not only my dr. But my daughter and my husbands dr. I had surgery first like 10yrs ago and he went above and beyond so I trusted him to take care of the rest of my family. I recommend him to anyone in search of bariactric surgery.
