Self Image Realization

I was having a conversation with my sister today, and she stated that she needed to run to the mall and return a bra.  She had bought a 40d, and it was too small and needed to get a 42d.  It then hit, and I said "oh my god I wear the same size you do".   It was at that point, I looked at her and realized that is the size of my body.  I still was seeing myself wearing a 4x-5x shirt although I am down to a 1x, i still see the fat me.

Needless to say, I got a spring in my step and keep thinking of what my sister looks like.   They say it takes a while before you start seeing yourself smaller.   I know I am smaller, but I see the large me in the mirror.  Maybe tomorrow, I will see the smaller me.

Just thought I would share.

Way to go!!!!  I'm really not used to be the "skinny one" at my school.
Along that note, went to Cedar Point with my High School band (had a blast going on rides!!) and if it wasn't for the people I was riding the rides with I could not have spotted myself in the 'action shots'!  At some point I'm assuming our eyes/brains will realize and grasp the new reality we live.

Pam,

It's so hard for our brains to catch up with our bodies.  I'm so happy for you that you are able to see that you are doing great!!  Try taking pictures of yourself to compare.  It really helps your brain to see the changes.
