Good morning!
I figured if no one else was going to post something different (sorry all you MMPCers) then I would.

I'm at work, getting ready to go get moody teenage son from school for an orthodontist appointment.   Moodier older teenage son has an appointment for a different kind of braces (the kind you wear on your legs) today at U of M.  DH is handling that appointment.

It's supposed to be really warm today!  I think I put my flip flops away too early.  Come to think of it, I should keep them out because I plan on having a lot of pedis this winter.   Who's with me?

My goal for today is protein.  I think I'm letting my picky eater syndrome get the better of me and I'm eating what makes me feel good emotionally, not physically.  So today I'm getting in my protein no matter how gross I think it is.  Wish me luck!

I'm not wearing flip flops, but I do have my Birkenstock sandals on today!  I do pedis during the winter, too.  So, I'm right there with you!  I may not get them as often as I do in the summer, but I do get them all winter.  It's like a little piece of sunshine all winter long.  LOL!

I need to focus on my protein, too, as I sit here eating 1/2 a bagel with cream cheese for breaksfast.  oops....all protein for lunch, tho....sort of.

Have fun at the ORTHO with moody teenage son.

Titillation?  Wow, that sparked my interest.  LOL!!!

I'm at work too.  Finished my coffee w/ protein.  Went up to the cafeteria and got my water and 2 hard boiled eggs.  I was hungry this morning.  My Love made a pot roast for dinner last night.  It was awesome.  Nothing like comfort food.  And we indulged in a fabulous red wine.  Had the table set and candles lit when I walked in from work.  The wine was already poured.  He's such a sweetie.

Well my flip flops are still out.  I'm in denial about it being fall.

Good luck at the orthodontist.  My older daughter had her braces removed this summer.  Now the little one is getting ready to get braces.....UGH!

I am struggling with my protein as well. unfortunately I have thrush and that is not helping. I am on my 2nd day of the oral meds to get rid of the thrush.

I did get in a 45 minute walk this morning! So that is a good thing!

So far today had beans and yogurt.  Yay me!
Hey Carey, I went home at lunch to throw some 'taters on our pot roast that is in the crock pot now!  What a sweet DH you have!

Hey Tina, we're going to have to go in search of the perfect pedi place.  Somewhere close to Warren, Chelsea, and Westland.  That has at least 5 people working the pedi chairs.  That have awesome OPI colors.  That massage your feet.  That serve wine and cheese.  That only charge $20.  Think we'll find it?

Hey Brenda I plan on having some leftover pot roast tonight.

Now you're talking....pedicure, massage, wine and cheese.....and only $20 bucks!!!!  Sounds fabulous to me.

We'll just find some pedi boys to follow us around and give us pedis at our beck and call.  Something along the lines of a HOT pool boy, but he'll do pedis instead!  Maybe we should put a request on Craig's list or something.  I bet we'd get lots of takers.  I'm sure we could probably find some to do it for free, but they might not look like what we have in mind.  I'm thinking Matthew McConaughey would make a good pedi boy....sigh!  One can dream!

Tina - that sounds like a fabulous idea to me.  My dream guy would be "The Rock".  I don't think we'd find anything like that on Craigslist.

I hate shoes too! Still have the sandals out. Hey, if you find the $20 pedicure, I'll come from Saugatuck and meet you!
My dream guy would be Patrick Dempsey--McDreamy, oh yeah! Tomorrow night is the season opener of Grey's Anatomy!! Woohoo!
