any new News from MMPC

i deliberately did NOT call because i knew they would be bomarded..and i thought i would get some info from someone of the board today...but nuthin....

has anyone called and/or gotten any more information?

This is all I know, from what we (I work at the Grand Rapids Press) had in the paper Sept. 14.

I believe this has to do with the end of those merger talks with Spectrum and MMPC; plus it may also have to do with the amount of money those docs bring into Spectrum Blodgett with their surgeries. Just my opinion.

I had my 6 week post op visit, so I got some scoop from Randy...he said the new place is just down the road, they will have a store (Bariatrix stays with mmpc, they will have new stuff) with supplements and exercise stuff. Andy is going along (exercise dude) and so is Christine (nutritionist). All the PAs are going too. Oh, and the insurance people are too. He said insurance should not be an issue for anyone that is already a patient. Everyone seems very excited about it.

i called today, but Alicia (sp?) from Medical Records didnt really say too much... i asked her if Todd was definately going and she said yes!!!!! yay!!!!! lol

all she said is that they 4 of them decided that they would open their own practice, and im GLAD to know that Christine is going... (i dont really care for Lasandra) but im also excited that Andy is going along too!

I think this will be better for us all with all the new plans mentioned above, im glad they made it on their own.!!
