I'm queasy all the time...
Good Morning,
I felt irpy for like 2months, my Dr told me it was because my body was sortof in shock and it was confused, It went away and never returned... I found that as long as I did my protein and my water it wasnt as bad.. just take each day one at a time and remember that your body is going through a big change.. Dont fret but if you get too worried make sure to call your Dr. He/she is there for you.
Hope that helps!!

Thanks. I have gotten a lot of good advice. The protein thing is hard for me. It all taste so awful. I am a person who cannot eat certain consistantcies. Like oatmeal, or anything that has a thick, textured taste. It reminds me of vomit and I can't get past that. I realize it is mental, but I have been that way my entire life. This protein tastes so incredibly bad that I am almost sick before I have to eat it. I have found one or two things I can eat, but that is about it. My nutritionist said to eat Wendy's chilli and that has helped. I also had some plain tuna and did ok with that. I found a fruit recipe with protein that I liked but again, eating 3 things for three weeks is really difficult.
There are some Tastless protein out there at health stores, I used the Anywhey Flavorless and put it in everything, chilli, tea (decaf of course) soups of all sorts... you can use the vanilla anywhey and add it to your morning coffee (again Decaf) and it is almost like a vanilla latte.. not too bad.. but they the flavorless and like I said mix it with everything.. I couldnt do the shakes at all.... I still get queasy when I think about them... there are some protein mixes that arent thick, they are more like fruit drinks verses a shake... Just hang in there and keep trying different things... your tastes are going to change so many times.. I can still remember the day that Wendys chilli ended up on the disgusting list for me... I still cant eat it.. but like I said keep at it.. It is SO WORTH IT!!!
My only regret is that I didnt do it sooner!!

Not certain which surgery you had, so if it is RnY, I have no experience with a pouch. But, what you described sounds just like my reaction to pain killers. If you are still taking the Rx version, see if Tylenol will do the trick instead.
