TGIF is right!
Drinking Propel lemon because that's what I found in the frige at work. Happy to report that I was down 3 lbs. since last week. I hope it stays gone!
I love the rain.....my grass needs it. Supposed to clear up later, so that is good.
Since it's Labor Day coming up, I always think of my dad, who was a union president for 20 years. He worked so hard to get rid of the stereotype that unions just let workers be lazy and get paid more than they deserve. I'm thankful that as a woman I can have the job I do and get paid the same as men. I am so fortunate to have full medical coverage that paid 100% for my WLS. I appreciate all of the hard work that has gone in to raising the minimum wage and making jobs safer. We still have a long way to go, but hopefully we'll keep moving forward. If you have a job (love it or not!) be thankful for each paycheck....and happy Labor Day!

It is Birthday weekend for my 5 year old. He got up this morning and announced it was his birthday and he was now "5".
I work today, and we are having pizza and cake with Daddy at work tonight, Party is tomorrow along with new exterior doors on the house.
Sunday and Monday are just our days. I think I am going to check the holiday hours for the gym this weekend and take him swimming with me.
My boy starts kindergarden on Tuesday, and he is very excited.

Well, today, I went to Hillsdale and got my hair cut and highlighted. I drive an hour to get my hair done because my aunt is my hairdresser and she's the best and that's where she lives. My family also lives there, so I saw my bro and his family, etc, too.
Tomorrow is my sister's birthday, so I think we're heading to the lake for the day. Sunday, I'm going shopping. Monday, we're probably just going to hang around the house. Tuesday is the 1st day of school so I'm back to work. I spent last week setting up my classroom.
