Oh Fudge!
I just got back from Mackinac Island. I didn't have a bite of the famous Mackinaw fudge. I DID have cashew brittle, sal****er taffee, and so much ice cream that I should be driving a truck and ringing a bell. Damn this lap band, I needed some dumping to save me from myself. I could have used this couple of days of walking for miles to break the 200 pound mark, but........... I am back from Up North and back on the band wagon. And I have known people who asked to be unfilled to go on vacation so they could eat whatever they wanted and who came back pounds heavier. Thanks to the band, I didn't gain a pound, so I guess life is good.

As soon as Babs is taken care of getting together to walk sounds like a great idea. I am having the hernia repair/TT Sept 23. And it seems like I have app't 3x a wee****il then plus regular things like garage sale, family camp out, babysitting.
Bu****ch out world, when Babs is gone and I am healed.....here I come!

Dumping is a good thing. It keeps RNY folks in check. But some have figured out how to beat it.
I still dump if I make a mistake and I can still get stuck even after 4 years.
Sugar over time is what give s you a dump threshold. I can take about 7 grams of sugar per hour. After that I will go over. And when it happens it's usually a full on major dump.
I would imagine the people who unfill are like RNYs who figured out how to beat the dump...
Keep up the good work.
